Panini Pete`s in Mobile

Nice place with good vibes and yummy food. I've been here a few times recently and I've not been dissappointed yet. I really enjoyed their seafood pasta and the poke bowl. They have some good craft beers on tap as well.

Went here the other day with some friends. The waitress was super nice and they had a military discount! Very impressed with the food too!! Will be back :)

Fun funky place with menu that suited a group of 8 of varying tastes. Calamari was delicious. Mob chicken fantastic as well. Our server was attentive and funny.I love a place with great food, clean bathroom, great service, and very reasonable prices. I'll return if back in Mobile again.

The staff was very courteous, attentive, and accommodating. The menu had a little bit of everything from tasty and fresh tuna salad, pasta, fried fish, to burgers. Not a place for your favorite draft beers. Food quality and prices were fine, but I'm not eager to go back. It was ok for a Sunday afternoon in downtown Mobile where most restaurants were closed.

Amazing. Great food great service and great atmosphere

Disappointing- my husband ordered his burger well done- it was pink. I ordered the grilled chicken pasta and it was Worcester sauce and the meat was scary. The pink Cadillac drink tasted like dish soap-

Don't confuse Squid Ink with the former Panini Pete's eatery. Though this sparkling new concept is Pete's chick; it is no relation to the previous sandwich eatery. The new bar is sleek and well appointed with unique libations and fresh new twists on some classics (the MOBhatten is excellent). Some great appetizers if you're just stopping for a drink, and whether for lunch or dinner there're some fine offerings. There's also more room, having built out the mezzanine to accommodate additional seating. Having just opened, the new menu is limited for it's inauguration; but count on some fun and delicious things from this world famous chef you may have seen on Food Network.

OMG!!! The very best burger EVER! Fresh cut fries also. I had the regular burger and my husband had the french quarter burger. Don't forget the BEIGNETS they are to die for!!!

The food was awesome love the atmosphere awesome friendly staff and the prices very reasonable can't wait to go back

Wonderful place to eat. Had mussels, seafood pasta and tried a couple of the squid ink drinks. Also fried devil eggs. Good would be a understatement. Everything was great. Staff was very polite and there when you needed them. Will definitely be back real soon. Prices were fair.

I have no idea why people are fighting over other “spicy” chicken sandwiches. This place has the best hot chicken sandwich I have ever had in my life!!! The beignets are great as well.

I really enjoyed this place. I ordered a hamburger and it was delicious. It had really good sauce on it. We sat up on the balcony which my 6 year old thought was the coolest thing. Our waitress was awesome, really responsive and quick. I definitely recommend trying it.

The Goat Blood Orange beer was a perfect blend of citrus and light beer, and every bit of the tuna was super fresh and delicious! Really fun and eclectic atmosphere. Definitely will be back soon!

My husband and I just had the privelege of dining here! Kelly was our amazing waitress! She made us feel like we were the only oones there even though they had every table full. The food was outstanding. We ate the paella, cauliflower, seafood pasta and hot chicken which were all fantastic. We have already planned our next trip and we will be asking for Kelly!

We just had lunch and a couple drinks, but it was delicious. The mahi fish and chips were very tasty but the Brit Burger was amazing! Drinks were good and fries were excellent. Will certainly eat here again!

Best restaurant around! The shrimp scampi was the most delicious, mouthwatering I've ever had! Get the calamari as well. You won't be disappointed! Unique decor with a chill atmosphere, add some good drinks and even better food and you have a restaurant you can't beat.

Poorly executed disgusting food, cool atmosphere though. Not visiting again. Half star review. Wait staff was terrible and the owner was too busy trying to schmooze the disgusting excuses we have for politicians and not once checked on me and my wife and our friends.This place is confused. It wants to be a diner but is also trying to be hip and serve small plates. Neither of those things align. Not to mention the food is anything but good. The menu is weird they offer weird things like canned sardines etc. I ordered a Poboy and it was merely a half slice of bread with about four shrimp. We also had one of their speciality burgers and it was soggy and cold. Not sure the attraction here. They should have kept the Panini Pete’s instead of making this disaster of a restaurant.

Very enjoyable for a nice meal and for drinks. This place has a very cool vibe and friendly staff. The service was very quick and waitstaff extremely nice. I asked for some changes to the menu items and these were done with no problem. They have several options for seating from a second level to outside. The inside fixtures give a welcoming feeling. The food is fresh and very tasty. Very nice combination of spices and ingredients. The poke salad was fantastic and I asked for some jalapeño to add spice, very good. Loved the appetizers as well. The restaurant is open and clean. They respect the current environment and are very welcoming. The bathrooms are individual. They are very clean. Makes for a positive experience. We very much enjoyed the lunch and will definitely come back.

Love this place! The food is fabulous...the atmosphere was great. Various beers on tap. Don't go looking for chicken tenders and bud lite..this place is eclectic and cool! Will go back for more!

Fantastic American burger! You can get it any way you want it. Extra pickles came out it was 2 dill slices. Service was good. Soft drink burger cheese bacon and fries roughly 16.00.

Squid Ink is one of the best new casual restaurants that's extremely creative and bold with their menu items. You won't find fried devil eggs, tuna nachos, or even a hot chicken sandwich anywhere else in the area but here. The staff is proud and confident (in a great way) and guarantees that you'll have a great experience. The food is some of the best in Mobile and has made me wanting to come back several more times to try out everything!

Great mussels & all of their appetizers are amazing! Cute place for eating out downtown. But wish they'd change up the menu from lunch to dinner. It's mostly the same on both menus. Overall great venue & eclectic eats...the squid ink is fabulous & I love how they incorporate it into both meals & drinks. Kudos to the chef! Also, please try the tuna poke power bowl...you won't regret it.

So good and great prices. I have had breakfast and lunch and I enjoyed everytime. The bill usually is messed than $20.

🦑 Squid Ink was an awesome experience! It was recommended by the hotel we were staying in. The atmosphere was really awesome, the staff was amazing, and the food was unbelievable! The prices were in line with the setting and area. This is for sure a must-try place. I can assure you will go back for more. You will definitely have to walk to this place, they only have street parking which is limited, but if you're staying in downtown area easy walk, or grab an electric scooter rental.If you like this place and this review hit that👍button for me!#outalongcr30a

Burgers and pork chop sandwich were fantastic, fries were perfect. So very happy we stopped in here.

I went with my girlfriend and we got two side salads for the side because they were out of fries. The salads we received were two completely different salads. One only had lettuce and the other had tomatoes, cucumbers and onions. I ordered the simplest burger on the menu and when I received it, it wasn’t what I had ordered. The service was slow and the burger was under seasoned. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The ambiance, service and food was amazing! So many good choices on the menu. Over 10 choices of burgers and sandwiches. I'm looking forward to going back and trying not appetizers and items from the Eclectic portion of the menu. Such a great experience.

It was good! I'll definitely go back! ...I didn't care for the chicken thigh sandwich. Food and drinks were good otherwise.

Tried Squid Ink for the first time today and it was phenomenal! From the special Mardi Gras cocktails to our main course my husband and I were not disappointed. The service was friendly and prompt. The portions were large and everything we ordered came out piping hot. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the overall vibe was very chill and welcoming. We can't wait to come back! (PS: drinks were served in plastic so they could be taken to the parade. They do have proper drinkware on normal days)

We will be returning! There are some unusual treats, but also traditional fare such as burgers. It is truly an excellent choice to satisfy several people with a wide range of palate. Oh! See if you can find the dinosaur!

Everything was incredible! Deviled eggs, paella fritters, calamari, fish & chips, seafood pasta, drinks - all unbelievably delicious!!! Service was also fantastic - friendly and prompt. Will definitely be going back!!

Excellent Tuna Poke Power bowl. Definitely on the spicy side, but not unmanageably spicy for me personally. Tuna was was one of the highest quality sushi-grade tuna I've had. Interesting drink list. I really enjoyed the Strawberry Fields cocktail. It was refreshing and not overly sweet.

Great experience, food was great, with service to match. Another fantastic "Panini Pete" creation. Watch out for the squid ink on the calimari, it is black ink and stains anything you touch after, Super tasty though.Great "dive" feel downtown.

Mehhh..... Just mehh. I get it....covid is making it hard. This was simply not excusable. Food was not cooked properly (we ordered burgers 🤯).

We stopped here on our way home from vacation. What a great little place! I had the Spaniard burger and it was amazing. I really enjoyed the unique flavors of the olives, manchego and chorizo. Our little kids split the fish and chips and ate all of the fish (not just the fries! 😂) Our daughter and her boyfriend got the Cadillac burger and gave it a 10/10. My husband had the shrimp poboy and he liked it even though it was on a bun and not French bread. Highly recommend! (edited to add that the service was great as well)

Food is absolutely delicious here!! The calamari is probably the best I’ve ever had, coming from a New Orleans native where calamari is easy to come by. Our waiter was awesome. Didn’t leave us waiting on drinks and was very polite.

We randomly chose this place. We both had the shrimp po boy. Great choice! Service was friendly. They were very busy.

Everything was amazing!! We ordered calamari and BBQ shrimp for apps and they were delicious!!! The Cadillac burger was the best burger yet!!

Sat at the bar and really enjoyed the conversation with the bartenders and other patrons. The selections on the menu are, as the name states, eclectic yet a solid weave of local and more American fare. The fresh fish sandwich was very tasty! Drink selections are also good. Have been here both for lunch and dinner and enjoyed my visit every time.

Business trip, staying at hotel around the corner and recommended by front desk for good salad. Power Salad bowl with Chicken was excellent, tasty and helped this traveling gal get some healthy veggies. Comfortable casual vibe, very friendly staff. Will be back on my next downtown Mobile trip.

Good food and fun to sit outside to eat.

The Mob-town Hot chicken is a MUST! So dang good I will be back here soon! Prices are very cheap too!
